Told you so!! :P
The two week course is so stretched out it's painful... The CITB could easily (and I mean easily) cut the 2 week course down to 4 or 5 days. Doesn't sound like it's changed at all since I did my part 1. The course was taught as if the room was full of complete morons and we spent more time on coffee breaks, lunch breaks, standing around breaks, smoke breaks, reading the paper breaks and just about anything other than actually learning anything to do with scaffolding. I was very pissed off after getting my ticket and wrote a letter to the CITB about how lax the course was.
*AND* to make matters worse... I was talking to the CITB last week trying to book 2 of the guys on the assessed route of entry Part II and was told they have just cancelled the assessed route of entry method, which means that everyone must do the residential course for parts 2 and or 3... Two more weeks of wasted time = no work = no money = more grey hairs!
Aaaargh!
Yep
C.I.T.B ripe off merchants their worse than the MAFIA ...NO CARD NO WORK...WHAT OTHER DICIPLINE HAS TO PAY THIS PROTECTION MONEY...
