New forum launched today!
The old Forum worked great but [*sigh*] I couldnt convert it to this version of PHPBB Forum database. This new version will be staying here as long as its in use! So please, register yourself, ask questions, answer queries or just talk complete bollocks.
We are a friendly bunch and the message forum is very gently moderated. Feel free to discuss anything, all we ask is that you try and use the appropriate section and refrain from personally abusive language. All we ask is "just be nice!"

Why the changes dog?
I was updating the main website (to it's new sexy macromedia-flash format) and decided to run an SQL script to upgrade the forum database at the same time... without bothering to back it up... whoopsey!
Database went bonkers.. spent an hour or so trying to fix it then my brain went into melt down... couldnt upgrade it to this version so just had to swallow it and re-install...
doesnt matter... the old forum was just full of our inane Blueridge mutterings anyway :oops:

So, heres the next generation of the forum software. The old PHPBB forum has been killed, it was a great bit of software but I just think this new Drupal integrated one will be simpler to maintain.

I've added the latest captcha to the entire site. Basically this means you will get a 5 word text based question when you want to post a question... this should slow down those pesky spam artistes.
Once you pass a single captcha validation, you should never see it again as long as your session is active.
Thoughts?
PS: One of the spams that landed here was www.fishsmuggling.com bleeeeuuuurgh
